First thing after i got the laptop was to go through bunch of manuals in English and Tamil scouting information about the WIFI connectivity in the laptop given by the Tamilnadu government. First i saw info encouraging that there may be a internal wifi modem but to my disappointment i found out while using that there is no WIFI card in the laptop.
But always there are alternative ways that you could use to get back the net connection in your laptop.

1. You could get your laptop inserted with a WIFI card in any laptop servicing centre.
2. You could use data card connections from any of the mobile operators.
3.If you have net connection in your mobile , you could use PC suite for your mobile to get back net connection on your laptop.
4. You could use a DSL cable to connect modem and the laptop for using Internet in your laptop.
5. You could get an WIFI dongle which is available from rs. 350 to connect to Internet.
6. And guys, if you've got an android phone you've struck gold. Ya. You could use your android device as a wifi modem that could forward the modulated WIFI signal back to your laptop and demodulate back the signal to the modem itself. Thereby you could use your existing WLAN connection for operating in a laptop.
For using this method you have to install an application called Easytether in your android device. Easytether is an free application available on the android market. After installing easy tether on your android device, you have to install another syncing software on your laptop. Then after you connect your android device to the laptop using an USB cable, you could easily get access to Internet connection on your laptop.

Create Your Own Character(Font) With Windows Bult-in Utility

Step 1
To run Private character editor, go to Start>Run and type the following:

%systemroot%\system32\eudcedit.exe

or
simply type

eudcedit.exe

Private character editor will open , inchoose any of the blank box and click OK.

Step 2
You’ll be welcomed in Edit window with a grid measuring 50 X 50. Each character that you draw becomes a black and white bitmap (*.bmp) .The drawing art board is simple enough to understand, but it needs some tricky art to draw a character in it. Use the left mouse button to draw in black and the right one to erase it. You can choose several tools from Tools menu, also you can rotate it.

Step 3.
To Save go to Edit>Save Character or Ctrl+S

Step 4
Now to go Character Map , Start>All programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map

Step 5
In Character Map select font type as All Fonts (Private Character) . And then select the created character , after that click copy..

Step 6
Now paste it notepad , wordpad etc....

Wipro Q1 net profit up by 18.37 per cent

Country’s third-largest software firm Wipro today reported 18.37 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs. 1,580.2 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs.1,334.9 crore in the April-June quarter of last fiscal, Wipro said in a filing to the BSE.

The total income from operation during the quarter rose by 24.37 per cent to Rs. 10,619.6 crore from Rs. 8,538.4 crore in the year-ago period.

“In today’s complex business environment, global corporations are increasingly investing in transformational technology initiatives to improve competitiveness.

“We see this shift as an opportunity for us to lead this change and help customers differentiate in this fast evolving market,” Wipro Chairman Azim Premji said in a statement.

Wipro’s IT services revenue, which accounted for 78 per cent of the total revenues, grew 30 per cent year-on-year in rupee terms to Rs. 8,314 crore.

“IT Services revenue in dollar terms was impacted by USD 25 million of cross currency impact and was USD 1,515 million, a year-on-year increase of eight per cent,” it said.

The company had forecasted IT services revenues to be in the range of USD 1,520 million to USD 1,550 million for the April-June 2012 quarter.

For the quarter ending September 30, 2012, the company has maintained its revenue outlook to be in the same range, assuming that exchange rates of dollar will be at Rs. 54.76.

“We have seen high levels of volatility in currencies globally. We have improved profitability, while continuing to invest for growth,” Wipro Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Suresh Senapaty said.

Next iPhone to introduce new 19-pin dock connector?
